Christopher Prentice Christopher Prentice was appointed as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Iraq in September 2007.

Christopher joined the British Diplomatic Service in 1977 after graduating from Oxford with a first class Honours degree in Classics.

British Embassy in Baghdad is the focal point of the British presence in Iraq. Its objectives are to develop close ties with the Iraqi Government and assist the Government and the Iraqi people with the process of reconstruction after the Saddam era.
